When I asked what inspired her poem, Production Machines, she explained, “I wrote it on a day when I was reflecting on how we live in a time of constant, rapid change. It’s a critique of modern life and the pressures within it, touching on the relentless drive for productivity, the cost of efficiency, and the toll these demands take on mental health.” She said, “Sometimes, technology and productivity can overshadow human needs and well-being.”

Apologue: own merit!
Autonomy, reclusive
circus, bread
conscious, blurred
Acceptance.
Commotion, trivialization
affection, weakness
love, liquid
Affliction, medication
People can no longer
Human beings.
