Wishing a truly wonderful Mother’s Day to all the incredible women out there—whether you’re a mom, a grandma, an auntie, or a mother figure to someone lucky. Today is all about celebrating the heart and soul you pour into everything you do!
I feel so incredibly blessed to have two wonderful grown children who have brought so much joy into my life. And just when I thought my heart was full, along came my grandchildren! They have added a whole new layer to this journey, making this day feel twice as special.
A few years ago, I wrote a poem for my children. In the spirit of love and celebration, I wanted to share it with all of you today.

Mom-ories
A flutter, a kick,
a love at first sight.
A cuddle, a huddle,
a fist curled up tight.
A crawler, a cryer
with teeth coming in.
A walker, a talker,
a heart-melting grin.
A leaper, a keeper
of faith as we go,
lovingly learning
the things we don’t know.
A shimmer, a glimmer,
a wish it would last.
A whirl and a wind…
they grow up too fast.
A graduation, confetti,
a march down the aisle.
A counter of blessings,
of kisses, and smiles.
A wonder, a wander,
making their way
into the world—
a proud momma day.
A memory, a mom-ory,
the old and the new,
I’m thankful, so grateful
for the gift that is you.
