I tracked the candles down on Esty and found the 9 oz. PAINT CHIP POETRY GAME
Poets and teachers worldwide, me included, have used this creative technique in their writing for decades. The wordplay goes like this: Gather paint chip samples from the hardware store, place them face down, select 10 colors and write a poem using the names of the colors. It’s great fun and you can come up with so many interesting poems or stories. It’s a popular technique, so I wasn’t surprised to find a new game by Chronical Books called…you guessed it, Paint Chip Poetry.
