Hauling the Tide: Haiku Anthology

I am proud to have one of my poems in the Haiku Society of America Members’ Anthology 2024! The book is packed with haiku inspiration! I enjoyed reading friends’ haiku in the collection and got to know other members of HSA through their work.

Here’s the poem I contributed:

If you love haiku and other forms of Japanese poetry you might want to consider joining The Haiku Society of America (not endorsed). “Its primary function is to publish the best in contemporary English-language haiku and senryu, linked forms including sequences, renku, rengay, and haibun, essays and articles on these forms, and book reviews.”

Members receive copies of HSA’s official journal, Frog Pond, published three times a year, and there are loads of contests and opportunities to have your work published in anthologies or special collections.
