Pick a number between one and nine, then slide the cover to reveal the visual prompt you can use to write a poem this week. The numbers are in random order in the lower right-hand corner of each photo. If the image loads with the slider open, quickly close it —no peeking! 🙂 Have fun!

I chose number 4 with the image below; the lavender field reminded me of a cozy blanket spread out on a sunny day, where one could lie down and let the soothing fragrance wash over them. Inspired by this serene scene, I decided to capture the essence of the moment in a haiku:

Ok. We might need to brainstorm together. You always have such amazing ideas! For your books, blog posts, and everything! What a fun prompt with the sliding thing! Also. You must be a wiz at tech things.
I’s Love to brainstorm! Ha! Not a wiz, but I find creating in all ways fun. When I was the assistant to the president of a computer networking company (back when many people didn’t have a home computer) one of my jobs was to create advertising, newsletters, and graphics for the company. I still enjoy applying creative ideas to my blogs and promotions. 🙂
Well, you do an excellent job!
Thank you 🙂
Also. Beautiful haiku! I LOVE lavender, and the words are perfect!
Thanks so much! Lavender makes me happy 🙂
