Last week, I hopped over to Angie Quantrell’s blog, Love, Laughter, and Life, to discuss the many things you can do with haiku. One thing we talked about is Digital Haiku. Let’s create some today!

If you have a haiku you want to share on your blog or social platforms, why not make a quick video short of it with some nature scenes? Bringing in a visual element (and sound, if you add music) is fun to share on many sensory levels!

SOUND ON…
You may have your favorite programs you use for video-making, but if you’d like to try another, I’ve included some that I’ve used below:
- Canva (this is the program I used for the above video)
- Wordswag
- Instagram (you can create and post all on the same platform)
- Vimeo
Please feel free to post any video-making software you know and love below in the comments for readers to see.
THANKS FOR POPPING IN!
If you enjoy Poetry Pop, please share the love with your friends, family, and teachers using the buttons below. I am growing my site and always appreciate a shoutout. And, as always, thank you for following the blog for your weekly pop of poetry.

I’m going to try one right now! Okay. I’m going to try one today after it warms up a bit outside and everything is not as wet with dew as it is right now. LOL
Great post, Danna!
Lol, wonderful, I look forward to seeing it!
I saw your digital haiku on IG! It’s so lovely! Good job!
