It’s Independence Day in the U.S., a time to celebrate our freedom and remember those who sacrificed for us. I’m proud to be an American and grateful for our service members who protect our liberties. As we enjoy barbecues, fireworks, and parades with loved ones, let’s honor the unity and strength of our nation. Today, I’m sharing a poem I wrote for a children’s magazine. Enjoy, and happy Independence Day!
